Conduct analyses, collaborate with multidisciplinary faculty (Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Developmental Psychology) to write manuscripts, and present at national conferences on findings of the clinical trial of psychological, alcohol abuse, drug abuses, smoking effects of MI in prenatal settings for 261 pregnant women and the post-partum maternal (psychosocial) and infant (developmental) follow-ups for more than 100 mothers and their babies.

Developed, implemented, supervised alcohol use screening of over 5,000 women in the UNM obstetrics clinics, conducted and supervised psychological assessments, alcohol interventions, referral and follow-ups for pregnant outpatients enrolled in treatment study; provided individual counseling sessions; trained and supervised a team of research staff, graduate-level and undergraduate clinical interviewers, assessors and alcohol interventionists for a caseload of 261 women who were monitored and tested over the course of their pregnancies and up to 14 months post-partum; supervised evaluations of infants at 6 and 14 months.
