After completing her training, Dr. Kaspi worked at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio where she established an outpatient Anxiety Disorders Program. She moved to New Mexico with her family in 1997 and worked from 1998-1999 with the Department of Psychiatry at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine where she saw outpatients, worked on research projects, and taught and supervised psychiatry residents in cognitive-behavioral treatments.
